DunningHero connects once to your accounting: Lexware Office, sevDesk, FastBill or Papierkram. Trade businesses using HERO Software or ToolTime come in through Lexware Office. Open invoices arrive by themselves, and a payment closes the case at the next sync.
Six payment reminders and three dunning levels, each with its own deadline, text and channel. The run starts on your schedule by itself – nobody has to remember it.
Emails go out through our delivery or your own mail server. The text message is the short nudge beside the dunning letter, and optionally a few days before the due date. We print, enclose and post letters ourselves – from a dunning level you choose, as Einwurf-Einschreiben with a tracking number.
The dunning fee defaults to €5.00 per dunning level and is freely adjustable. DunningHero calculates default interest under § 288 BGB to the day and shows it as its own line. If nobody pays, we bundle the claim, every step and the original invoice for the court dunning order.
Nothing goes out until you switch sending on. You pause or exclude single invoices or whole customers, with a reason in the log. You preview every template against a real invoice first.

In Lexware Office, each dunning letter is triggered by hand per invoice, according to its help centre; in HERO Software you start the dunning run yourself and approve sending. DunningHero runs on your schedule once you have switched sending on.
FastBill’s automatic dunning has one payment reminder and up to three dunning letters, ToolTime Pay one reminder and two dunning letters. DunningHero has six reminders and three dunning levels, each one optional.
As far as our research shows, none of the seven systems we work with offers text reminders or registered letters posted for you; ToolTime Pay’s automatic dunning sends email only. With DunningHero, email, text, letter and registered post run from one plan.
FastBill bills its automatic dunning as an add-on per dunning case. DunningHero is priced flat by the number of invoices overdue at the same time – from €9 a month for 10 invoices, with no setup fee and no per-user price.

Daniel Vöckler founded d-automation GmbH in Müllheim, Germany, in 2019 to automate the office work nobody enjoys. DunningHero is the result: dunning that runs without anyone having to think about it.
A good friend of Daniel’s works as a bookkeeper at a trade business with around 20 employees. One day the owner of a neighbouring business asked her whether she could take over his dunning. He had too much on his plate, and nothing is more tiresome than calling customers and chasing money yet again.
Emails and other tools hadn’t helped, and letters had to be printed first – and then stayed in the car. That got Daniel thinking, and DunningHero grew out of it: with text messages, because they get read, and with postal sending we take over completely.
