What you’ll want to know first.

What does the trial cost and how does it end?
The trial runs for 14 days and costs nothing. You enter no payment details. After 14 days it simply ends — nothing is charged and nothing renews quietly.
Can I cancel any time?
Monthly plans can be cancelled to the end of the current month. Yearly plans run for 12 months and are 15 % cheaper in return.
What counts against my limit?
Only overdue invoices currently running in parallel. Paid, paused and excluded invoices do not count. If the limit is reached, the oldest cases go first and the rest wait until there is room again — none are lost.
Is nothing really sent before I want it to be?
Correct. Sending is set to INACTIVE on every new account. DunningHero only sends once you explicitly activate it, and you can switch it off again at any time.
Can I exempt individual customers?
Yes. Customers can be excluded permanently and single invoices paused — each with a reason that stays in the audit log.
Can I write the texts myself?
Yes. For every level and every language you set your own subject lines and body text, with placeholders for invoice number, amount, deadline and bank details. A preview against a real invoice is built in.
What do I need to get started?
An account with Lexware Office, sevDesk, FastBill or Papierkram, plus its API access. If you work with HERO Software or ToolTime, that account is your Lexware Office: both pass their invoices there through their interface. Setup takes a few minutes and we walk you through every step.
Are fees and default interest calculated?
Yes. The dunning fee is preset to €5.00 per dunning level and can be changed for each level; payment reminders carry no fee. Default interest under § 288 BGB is calculated to the day on request and itemised in the letter — at the consumer rate by default, at the business rate if you change the setting. We never collect money: your customer pays you directly.
What happens when someone pays?
At the next sync with your accounting system the case closes automatically. Partial payments are recognised too: the next level then quotes the remaining amount.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in Germany. A data processing agreement is available to download.
